NOOM
NOOM is a Ukrainian design brand — founded in 2017 in Kyiv by Kateryna Sokolova (industrial designer, Art Director, collaborations with Ligne Roset, Forestier, Jarre Technologies, Bolia a.o.) and Arkadii Vartanov (designer and entrepreneur with 10 years' experience in his own workshop Postformula Craft). NOOM was born from a shared vision to create interior objects that are both emotionally resonant and timeless in form. The brand works at the intersection of art, design and craftsmanship — inspired by early 20th-century modernism, from Bauhaus to Suprematism. All products are manufactured in the company's own workshop in Ukraine — by hand, by specialised craftsmen, under full process control. Primary material: metal — in its processing NOOM combines traditional and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. Chemical specialists work exclusively on metal surfaces, continuously developing new effects. Bespoke service for architects: custom pieces in various noble metals — accent installations, furniture, lighting, decorative wall panels.
Product categories: furniture (chairs, tables, sofas), lighting, decor, home accessories, collectible design pieces. Iconic products: Flock Chair (featured in Elle Decoration NL), Gropius (named after Walter Gropius), HELLO Chair, Archipen Chair; Brandt tables (stainless steel, three-leg base of varying cylinder diameters, hand-brushed surface), Paul table (homage to Bruno Paul, ash wood). Suprematic Vases and Decor collection. Salone del Mobile: annual presence (Hall 5). Collaborations: Patience & Gough (British textile designers).
For architects and interior designers seeking for ultra-luxury residential, design hotel, premium restaurant and demanding international contract projects a Ukrainian design brand founded in 2017 by Kateryna Sokolova and Arkadii Vartanov in Kyiv that with metal as primary material, its own workshop and fully artisanal production by specialised craftsmen, design inspirations from Bauhaus to Suprematism, artisanal metal surface development, iconic products including Flock Chair, Gropius, HELLO, Archipen and Brandt/Paul tables and a bespoke architecture service for noble metal commissions — NOOM works in Kyiv at the boundary between design and art: metal, the handiwork of specialised surface chemists, Bauhaus and Suprematism as sources of inspiration, and every piece a collectible.
