Nola Industrier

Nola Industrier is a Swedish company for sustainable urban design and street furniture — founded in 1980 when Agneta Stake took over the company and fundamentally repositioned it. Under her leadership, Nola initiated an intensive review to meet the demands of a new era that called for better products for the public outdoor environment. With strong community involvement, passion and sensitivity towards the leading architectural offices and urban planners of the time, she shaped a company that would become a reference for how public space can look and function. All products are manufactured exclusively in Sweden — direct process control, low-impact logistics, consistent quality assurance. Sustainability certifications: FSC, Svanens Husproduktportal, Byggvarubedömningen, SundaHus. Multiple product lines awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel (Kajen collection). Showrooms: Stockholm and Malmö. CEO since 2019: Henrik Edlund. Exclusive Swedish distributor for Bellitalia (terrazzo products).

Designers: Broberg & Ridderstråle, Björn Dahlström, Note Design Studio, Thomas Bernstrand, Anki Gneib. Awards: Red Dot Design Award + Swedish Design S Award (Kaskad armchair — inspired by the movement of water over rapids), Swedish Design S Award 2023 (Viaduct bench — cross-laminated timber). Reference projects: Kungsträdgården Stockholm, Sergels Torg Stockholm, Arlanda Airport, Motala, Söderhamn, Uppsala (Sala backe), Krokbäck Park Malmö-Hyllie, Fredriksbergsbadet Västerås.
