Rigyclo

Rigyclo® is a hotel mattress brand of the Italian company MTA Group srl. MTA Group was founded in 2018 by Adriano Calabrese and his brother in the Turin area (Leini, Piedmont). The company develops and manufactures mattresses under several brands. Rigyclo was conceived as a hotel-specific product: it is the only mattress produced in Italy that combines eco-sustainability with fire resistance. In 2021, La Repubblica ranked MTA Group in the top 100 fastest-growing Italian companies. In 2023, Rigyclo won the Sustainability Award at the Archiproducts Design Awards.

Rigyclo is made from nearly 90 per cent recycled and recyclable materials. Per mattress, the equivalent of 143 PET bottles are diverted from circulation, 33 shower-equivalent units of water are saved, and 2 trees are planted to offset CO₂ emissions. The product is fire-resistant (ignifugo), meeting Italy's statutory fire safety regulations for accommodation facilities with more than 25 beds. The core consists of recycled polyurethane and recycled polyester fibre. Each mattress is delivered with a communication kit for hotel rooms.
