KEIGIO®
KEIGIO® is a modular furniture brand — emerging as a personal project by Italian designer Giovanni Bruni, who developed his first modular structure in 2015, subsequently founded KEIGIO® and opened his interior design studio in an industrial loft in Barcelona's Poble Nou district, since then engaged in searching for new modular solutions for every type of space. The brand name derives from the Japanese 形状 (Keijō) — translated as "the form of a physical object in space" — chosen from Bruni's passion for Japan and Japanese design: simplicity, craftsmanship and noble materials as core values, modular small-batch production as format. All furniture is made manually, piece by piece, in the rhythm of traditional craftsmanship. KEIGIO® applies the principle of "gamification" to interior design: modular, easily transportable and reassemblable elements give users the freedom to design their own interiors.
Product lines: KEIGIO® SOFA (modular sofa system; one of the world's smallest modules with a 36×36 cm base; 3 dimensions, 10 colours; FSC wood frame; upholstery fabric FIDIVI — technical, self-extinguishing contract fabric, Made in Italy, 340 g/m²; 6 cm visco-foam; near-infinite configuration options on imaginary grid systems), KEIGIO® SHELF (modular shelving system, inspired by the Japanese Sashimono principle; joint and arm elements in die-cast aluminium, mountable without screws or tools; surfaces in tempered glass, stainless steel or coloured acrylic glass), KEIGIO® LAMP (lamp system inspired by the Rubik's Snake of the 1980s; translucent acrylic glass elements; connection via Fastmount clips from New Zealand).
