Diabla

Diabla is a Spanish outdoor furniture brand, founded in 2017 as the third brand of the Gandia Blasco Group — a Valencian company established in 1941 by José Gandía Blasco in Ontinyent (Valencia, Spain, Calle Músico Vert 4), originally as a yarn and blanket manufacturer, which has evolved into an international reference for premium outdoor furniture. In addition to Diabla, the Gandia Blasco Group includes the parent brand GANDIABLASCO (outdoor furniture and structures) and GAN (textile solutions). Diabla emerged from Gandiablasco's long-standing relationship with emerging designers — through workshops, design fairs and the annual International Outdoor Furniture Design Contest, first held in 2006. The brand's design approach is led by architect and designer Sara Romero, founding partner of the Madrid studio Romero Vallejo, a long-standing collaborator of the group. ISO 9001:2015 certification for Gandia Blasco S.A. (design, manufacturing and distribution of outdoor furniture, rugs, textiles and outdoor lighting).

Brand profile and range: Diabla positions itself as an "inspiring, free and cosmopolitan" label within the group — deliberately colourful, casual and design-experimental, but with rigorous ergonomic and quality standards. Products for garden, terrace, pool, beach, solarium and public outdoor spaces. Selected products and designers: 356 collection (aerodynamic, inspired by the 1950s Porsche 356 — armchairs, stools, sun loungers, side tables, recycled polyethylene), Valentina / Valentina Up (Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret — garden sofa, dormeuse, armchair), Clip (José Antonio Gandía-Blasco — armchair and side table, pool area), Lipstick (José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales — oval backrests and cylindrical forms inspired by the lipstick), Arp (Borja García + Laura Ros/Made Studio — contemporary minimalist lounge collection), Tuba (Samuel Wilkinson — 19 bent aluminium tubes), Easy (Rocío Gambin), Costuras (Teresa Sapey & Partners — baseball-inspired Base and Ball poufs, indoor/outdoor), Cacao (Odosdesign — inflatable lounger and daybed, pool-resistant). Materials: aluminium, steel, recycled polyethylene, synthetic fibre, ceramic.

For architects and interior designers seeking an outdoor furniture programme for hotel rooftops, pool areas, public open spaces and contemporary residential gardens — one that combines Gandiablasco's experience with the creative freedom of an autonomous junior brand, is colourful, playful, formally distinctive, and designed by international emerging talents — Diabla is the most direct Valencian address for outdoor design with a decidedly Mediterranean spirit.
