COLAVENE

Colavene is an Italian family company for bathroom furniture, laundry room furniture and washbasins, founded in 1968 by Giovanni Colamedici in Civita Castellana (Province of Viterbo, Latium) — one of Italy's most significant ceramics and sanitary production centres. The company began with the production of under-sink cabinets, utility sinks and furniture for utility and bathroom spaces. From the family company the third generation has now emerged: founder Giovanni was followed by his children Gianfranco, Lauretta and Adriana; today his grandchildren lead the company. Colavene was the first company in the sector to achieve ISO 90052/94 certification — an early signal of the quality orientation that the company today formulates as its brand core. In terms of materials, Colavene made a deliberate transition from water-resistant chipboard and post-form laminate to high-quality recycled materials, making the company one of the first members of the national consortium for recycled materials.

Today Colavene is part of Spazio Colavene, a five-brand group with a shared showroom in Civita Castellana (Via Flaminia Km 58.600): Colavene (bathroom furniture, laundry, utility), AXA Ceramica (sanitary ceramics, founded 1995), Colacril (bathtubs, wellness), Tamanaco (shower systems), LaBlù (bathroom taps). Colavene collections: Wynn (design and functionality, geometric lines, ceramic basins, wood and metal furniture, various colours/sizes), Tino & Tina (modular laundry solutions with basins, baskets, pull-out tables), SmarTop (composite worktops, robust and easy to clean), Laundry Accessories (laundry columns, baskets, pull-out and folding tables). Made in Italy.

For architects and planners equipping functional spaces — bathrooms, laundry rooms, utility rooms — in private and commercial projects with a consistent Made-in-Italy range, Colavene is the most highly specialised address in the Civita Castellana district for this sector — with a group structure that covers the entire bathroom from a single source.
