Ceramica Cielo is an Italian design brand for bathroom ceramics, headquartered in Fabrica di Roma (Province of Viterbo, Latium) — in the Civita Castellana district, an Etruscan-heritage area with a centuries-old ceramic tradition that made it Italy's most significant sanitary ware region until the mid-20th century. The origins of the company trace back to master craftsman Antonio Coramusi, who at the beginning of the 20th century was the first to manufacture ceramic sanitary fixtures in Civita Castellana. The current company was founded in the mid-20th century as a craft business and has since the late 1990s consistently developed into an internationally leading design brand. CEO: Alessio Coramusi. Design philosophy: "Slow Factory" — restoration of the "cultura delle mani" (culture of the hand) as a counter-model to industrial logic. Every product is hand-decorated. Trademark: Le Terre di Cielo — an exclusive colour palette of 24 unique tones that makes all bathroom ceramic products customisable (awards: Muuz International Award 2014, German Design Award 2015). Range: nearly 10,000 products, including washbasins, WCs, bidets, urinals, shower trays, freestanding bathtubs (Cibele), bathroom furniture, mirrors, accessories.
