Alice Ceramica

Alice Ceramica was founded in 1998 in Civita Castellana (VT) — a small town 35 km north-east of Rome that has been one of Italy's most significant ceramic production centres for centuries. The company employs approximately 100 people and produces around 800 pieces per day through a nine-stage process carried out entirely in-house: from plaster mould to final finish. President and CEO is Mauro Rossi. The range covers washbasins, WCs, bidets, bathtubs and shower trays across 16 collections and 20 surface finishes.

Two proprietary technologies define the product portfolio: Aliglaze+ — an antibacterial glaze certified to ISO 22196:2007 that reduces 99.9% of bacteria and microbes — and Aliflush+, targeting improved flush performance. Patented lines include NUR and SPY. A monobrand showroom is located in Milan's Brera district (Via Marsala 2). Alice Ceramica exhibits regularly at Cersaie in Bologna; in 2025, Il Sole 24 Ore featured the company as an example of manufacturing excellence Made in Italy.

For architects and bathroom specification professionals, Alice Ceramica is relevant when contemporary ceramic sanitaryware is required — with a demonstrable hygiene advantage, broad collection depth and fully verticalised Italian production.
