MAZANLI is a Berlin furniture brand for steel industrial design — founded in 2016 by Süleyman Mazanli, a Berlin-born economics graduate of the University of Berlin (degree 2014), who quickly developed a passion for architecture and industrial furniture after his studies. The trigger was a fruitless search for a metal bed combining minimalist design with puristic style and industrial character. Finding nothing suitable on the market, Mazanli welded his dream bed himself: "ION — The Wanderer" was born. Feedback from family and friends was so positive that after a social media post, European magazines and blogs took notice and first orders arrived from around the world. By early 2024 around 1,000 people had spent nights in the ION bed. The company first occupied an old warehouse in north Berlin, later Detmold.

Guiding principle: functional industrial design — parallel lines, proportionality, 90-degree angles, simple and memorable. Primary material: steel (Krupp steel, 2×2 cm square tube) — untreated, with natural patina, 100% recyclable, robust, plastic-free. Packaging: FSC-certified jute bags from a certain size.
