Twils

Twils is an Italian manufacturer of upholstered beds, sofas and living accessories based in Cessalto (Province of Treviso, Veneto). The company was founded in 1982 by the Carnieletto family — initially producing cushions. That work built deep expertise in materials, padding techniques and tailoring, which led naturally to the production of beds and sofas. The current Twils brand name was introduced in 2007.

Since 2020, Matteo Ragni (two-time Compasso d'Oro laureate) has served as Art Director. Under his direction the "Better Dreaming" (bedroom) and "Better Living" (living area) collections were developed, now complemented by an outdoor line. Design awards: Sail bed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba (Archiproducts Design Award 2020), Polet armchair (ADA 2021), Canalgrande bed by Ragni+Tiziano Carnieletto (ADA 2024), Kumo sofa by Paolo Grasselli (ADA 2025).
