True Design

True Design was founded in 1983 by Donatella Brunello and Giuseppe Maniero in Sant'Elena (Province of Padua, Veneto) — under the name TMA, an acronym for the three furniture production centres of Treviso, Monselice and Asiago. The original business was seating for offices, theatres and cinemas. Since 2009, the second generation has led the company: three Maniero brothers, each responsible for finance, aesthetics and production respectively.

Art Director is Aldo Parisotto (Parisotto+Formenton Architetti), who shapes the editorial direction of the "Extraordinary.Everyday" collection — furniture that works across office, public space, hospitality and residential settings. Key products: the modular Millepiedi seating system (ADI Design Index 2016), Arca armchairs (Orlandini Design), Clara (Parisotto+Formenton), Sho (Favaretto & Partners) and the Hella home-office desk. Further designers include E-ggs and Luciano Dell'Orefice (Nomade, Archiproducts Design Award 2023). Contract reference: Expo 2023 Doha (Qatar). The range now also includes an outdoor line.

For planners and interior designers seeking workspace, waiting-area and lobby furniture from a conceptually coherent collection, True Design is one of the few Made-in-Italy addresses that answers the hybrid need between living and working in a structured way — with a documented award track record.
