Tojo Möbel

Tojo Möbel GmbH was founded in June 2000 in Schorndorf near Stuttgart. The initial idea came from a student: moving flats made a lightweight, easily transportable bed necessary. That concept grew into a full furniture programme built on the same principles. Managing Director is Gerald Schatz.

Tojo manufactures in Germany, northern Italy and Hungary. All key materials are FSC-certified MDF or untreated beech plywood — free from harmful paints and chemical treatments. The brand's defining feature is tool-free or screw-free assembly: the Tojo-System, Tojo-Parallel and Tojo-Lieg beds require no fixings. All furniture ships flat-packed. The range covers beds, shelving (Hochstapler, Stell, Mehrfach), tables (Freistell), rolling containers (Cargo) and children's pieces. Tojo has received the Red Dot Award, the German Design Award and has been repeatedly recognised as a "Major German Brand".
