Situér Milano is a young Italian design atelier for metal furniture and accessories. It was founded in Milan by Federica Paoli and Biagio Castellani — both approximately 30 years old at the time of founding, both with a direct connection to Tuscan industrial metalworking: the Castellani family has run Castellani.it Srl since 1959/1960, a Tuscan manufacturer of industrial shelving and furniture. The founding idea: fold metal rather than weld it. Experiments in the Castellani workshops produced the characteristic "C" curvature — now patented — which joins metal parts without welding. The first prototypes were shown at various Milan locations during Salone del Mobile; the public response led to the formal brand launch. The Salone debut and brand founding date to around 2019/2020.
Design philosophy: minimal aesthetics, industrial appeal, full recyclability. 95% of materials used are steel or wood (100% recyclable); approximately 95% of metal waste is reintroduced into the production cycle. Range: shelving systems (including the e-Edition), clothes rails, benches, consoles, side tables, stools, wall mirrors, lighting (OCTO lamp) and trays (CONFINE collection). Materials: powder-coated steel (standard and custom colours), stainless steel and brass. Collections: Pop Corn[er] and BOUTIQUE. Showroom in Milan. Rental service for shops, temporary stores and events.
Situér is for retail designers, architects and interior designers the Milanese address for minimal, industrially inspired metal furniture with a proven circular economy model — a young brand with deep roots in three generations of Tuscan metalworking expertise.
