Sachi is a Portuguese brand for outdoor kitchens and furniture. The company was founded in 2009 in Portugal by Hugo Lourenço. The name is borrowed from Japanese and means "joy" — a reference to the brand's core conviction that good design decisions enrich the experience of outdoor spaces. In 2013, Sachi presented the In/Out kitchen system, its first integrated outdoor kitchen solution conceptually linking indoor and outdoor. Sachi exports to over 40 countries and is present at international trade fairs including EuroCucina and Maison&Objet.
The range covers modular outdoor kitchen systems (M1, M2), lounge furniture, dining tables, armchairs, sun loungers and outdoor accessories. The core M1 system — designed by Lourenço himself — consists of three to eight selectable modules in aluminium structure available in four colours; it is also available in wall-mounted and cantilever configurations. The M2 system is conceived as a kitchen island. All materials are developed for weather resistance. The brand pursues an engineering-driven design principle: rationality, modularity and durability.
Sachi is the precise address for landscape architects, hotel designers and interior architects seeking modular outdoor kitchen systems from Portugal — technologically well-conceived, internationally recognised and with a clear position on functional beauty in outdoor spaces.
