Luceplan is an Italian luminaire manufacturer — founded in 1978 in Milan by the three architects Paolo Rizzatto, Sandra Severi and Riccardo Sarfatti. The latter is the son of Gino Sarfatti, the founder of Arteluce and one of the most significant lighting pioneers of the 20th century; years of collaboration with Gino Sarfatti formed the founding basis. The company built from the outset on experimentation, research and quality as constant guiding values. In May 2010 Luceplan became part of Philips Lighting Consumer Luminaires (today Signify).
