DIZA

DIZA (also: DIZA Collective) is a Ukrainian design brand, founded in 2022 in Kyiv by Dmytro Zanko as a platform for the promotion and internationalisation of Ukrainian product design — born in the midst of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, when many designers were without commissions and uncertainty was paralyzing the industry. Zanko, with a solid background in furniture production, used this situation as an impulse to unite Ukrainian design talent and act together under the DIZA Collective label on international markets. The first result: around 20 unique objects in just six months, developed in close collaboration between the founder and a team of designers. The first exhibition took place in 2022 in Oslo — at the Chamber of Commerce for Ukraine, during the war — followed by the Milan Design Week and Maison&Objet Paris. Today DIZA Collective comprises a team of twelve designers and a large-scale production facility. DIZA is also now represented on the British market through Ukrainian Product Design.

Production philosophy: Circle Recycling as a core principle — every product is conceived to be repairable and shipped in the most environmentally friendly packaging possible. Range (Archiproducts): furniture and home accessories with a contemporary conceptual ambition. Art Rugs collection: developed in collaboration with Ukrainian designer Masha Reva. Designer portfolio: Max Voyntenko (Kyiv, architect and industrial designer, professional product designer since 2019; collaborates with international brands); Rostyslav Sorokovyi (founder and Creative Director, MUDU Design Studio, Lviv, est. 2020; participant at Maison&Objet and Barcelona Design Week; winner Industart Design Award 2019, Lighting Design Competition 2022); Sergey Lvov (founder Levantin Design Studio, furniture development for Ukrainian and international manufacturers since 2012; Morsetto collection for DIZA — inspired by a historic wooden clamp seen in a northern Italian carpentry workshop); SVOYA Studio (Denis Sokolov, Valeria Sokolova et al., founded 2008, Red Dot Award 2016, Elle Decoration International Design Award 2018); Pavel Vetrov (collaborations with Bolia, Missana, Temahome, Hyundai et al.).

For architects and interior designers seeking contemporary design objects for international residential and hospitality projects that combine a strong conceptual identity with a documented founding story under exceptional circumstances — while simultaneously making Ukrainian design talent visible — DIZA Collective is the most precise address from Kyiv: a brand that began in 2022 and has since performed on the most important international design stages, from the Milan Design Week to Maison&Objet Paris.
