Citterio

Citterio is an Italian manufacturer of office furniture and space-dividing systems, founded in 1958 in Sirone (Province of Lecco, Lombardy). Since 1969 the company has been part of the Molteni Group, forming — alongside Molteni&C and UniFor — the third pillar of the group. The production site and complete manufacturing chain remain in Sirone to this day, at the foot of Lake Lecco. Citterio positions itself as a specialist in high-quality office partitions, acoustic elements and integrated desk systems that meet the demands of contemporary work environments — collaboration, concentration, flexibility. Art Director is Studio Klass (Marco Maturo). In March 2024 Citterio opened a new showroom directly within the factory in Sirone, conceived as a meeting point between production and design, presenting all active collections in full-scale office scenarios.

Collections: Shard, Basic, Bridge, Point (trestle legs in extruded aluminium triangular profiles — for executive and standard workstations), Inlay (solid wood surfaces, combining modern desk and formal rigour), Wood-Wall (wood as the primary design element of the partition, not merely structural), W-SS (self-supporting acoustic booths with wooden structure for open-plan offices — individual and small-group work), C-SS (acoustic office islands for meetings and telephone booths with high-performance sound-absorbing materials). Sustainability: Citterio received Process EPD certification in early 2023 and is targeting Product EPD certification for eight product families. Strategic context: three-year growth programme with expansion into EMEA and US markets in synergy with the Molteni Group.

For architects and workplace planners, Citterio is the most direct address within the Molteni Group for all questions of office architecture — with a product depth ranging from acoustically high-performance partition systems to solid-wood desks, and a sustainability framework documented through EPD certification.
