Ama Advanced Materials is the building and construction division of the AMA International Group, a company network with roots dating back to 1967. The company is headquartered in Palagano (MO) with production sites in Palagano, San Martino in Rio (RE) and Sassuolo (MO) — all in Emilia-Romagna. The brand was formally established after the parent company Ama Composites had developed a division for nanotechnology-based aerogel insulation solutions for the construction sector. Ama Advanced Materials claims more than 15 years of expertise in high-performance insulation.
The product portfolio is structured around three divisions: thermal insulation (aerogel-based), radiant comfort systems, and an integrated insulation-and-façade cladding system. Core products include: AMAGEL A2 — a flexible aerogel glass-fibre mat with thermal conductivity of 0.015 W/(m·K), usable between −200 °C and +650 °C, in thicknesses of 3, 6 and 10 mm; AEROPAN and AEROPAN VP — polymer-based aerogel insulation panels; Aeroproof — a combined roof insulation and waterproofing solution with aerogel core and bituminous membrane; Thermogel Paint — aerogel-based thermo-reflective paints for interior and exterior walls; and Isoclip® — a ready-to-install façade insulation system with a porcelain stoneware finish for thermal and acoustic insulation. ISO 14001 certification has been held for several years.
For designers and construction companies, Ama Advanced Materials is relevant when space-saving, high-performance aerogel-based insulation is required for renovation and new-build projects — delivering measurable energy savings at minimum installation depth.
