Cider Edition

Cider Edition is the in-house design label of Groupe Cider, a French company for tertiary furniture and workspace development. The Cider Group has been accompanying companies — from SMEs to large corporations — since 1976 in the development and renewal of their work environments. Cider Edition is the brand name for the company's own-developed and produced furniture collections, created in close collaboration with independent design studios. The group positions itself as an incubator for emerging design talent, whose creativity is channelled into collections responding to new modes of using work environments — flex office, home office, co-working spaces, informal areas. Showrooms: Paris (3 Rue Edouard VII, Opéra quarter) and Lyon (Grand Hôtel-Dieu, 400 m²).

Collections on Archiproducts: FA7, Numéro, T's, T.Chair, À Dada, Cast (sofa, design Désormeaux/Carrette). Product categories: chairs, benches, sofas and armchairs, coffee tables, desks, office seating. Design DNA: aesthetics, functionality, conviviality and modularity as equally weighted development goals. Application areas: offices, co-working spaces, hotel lobbies, reception areas. Reference: Wellio co-working spaces (Paris Montmartre — planned and furnished by Cider). The group includes, alongside Cider Edition, La Manufacture (design editions with international designers including Luca Nichetto, Neri&Hu, Sebastian Herkner and Patrick Norguet) and 2SW (Stone, Steel & Wood).

For architects and workplace specialists, Cider Edition is the most relevant French address for contract seating and workspace design from the in-house label — embedded in a company ecosystem that provides planning, procurement, consulting and own design from a single source, and complemented by the design publishing house La Manufacture with one of the strongest international designer portfolios in the European office furniture segment.
