Altrenotti

Altrenotti was founded in 1930 in the Turin region and is among the oldest active bed and mattress manufacturers in Italy. The company is based in Montanaro (TO), Via degli Artigiani 2, where it also operates its own showroom. All production — mattresses, bed bases, bed frames and bed linen — is carried out entirely in Italy through a vertically integrated process combining artisanal stitching and edging with modern technology. Current certifications include ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). Since late 2025, designer Iwona Gutka (Academy of Fine Arts, Kraków / Polytechnic University of Milan) has held the position of artistic director.

The core product pillars are: mattresses (including the flagship Biorest® — since 1992 the world's first mattress available in variable sizes, now in its fifth generation; and the Soul mattress families Memory, Molle and Lattice), bed frames (six collections, nearly 100 models: Designer, Why Not, Soul, Urban, Soul Young, Prime), sommiers and bed linen (Plain Collection, Texture Collection in cotton and linen). The programme includes a hospitality-sector line with specific requirements for functionality and safety. The latest addition is the Bi-Comfort Concept Bed: a modular system with differentiated comfort zones for each sleeping partner (YOU&ME technology, available in Pocket, Foam and Hybrid System versions).

For hospitality buyers and interior designers, Altrenotti is relevant as a specialised high-end sleep furniture manufacturer — with nearly 100 years of Italian production tradition, a broad configuration and bespoke service, and proven contract capability.
