Bontempi

Bontempi Casa is an Italian furniture company for residential and contract sectors, founded in 1963 by brothers Alessandro and Giancarlo Bontempi in Camerano (Province of Ancona, Marche) — as the company Mobilfer, specialising in craft metalworking. The first production complex was established in 1970; in the 1980s the brand was renamed and repositioned as Bontempi Casa. The company won the Compasso d'Oro in 1987 for the Delfina chair (design Giuseppe Raimondi): the jury's rationale highlighted the combination of different technologies with ergonomics in a poetic synthesis — still the brand's guiding principle today. From 2010 the second generation took over company management. In 2021 Bontempi Casa joined the Colombini Group, a large Made-in-Italy conglomerate, thereby expanding its global dealer network. Flagship store: Milan. Two Archiproducts awards: Eden sideboard 2024 (Lorenzo Remedi).

Range: tables (fixed and extendable; icons: Bach table/Andrea Lucatello, Talos/Pocci & Dondoli, Artistico, Kaleido), chairs and bar stools (wide variety; Delfina, Amelie/Cuno Frommherz, Shark, Linda), sofas, sideboards (Eden/Lorenzo Remedi), bookcases (Atena/Pocci & Dondoli), beds and bedside tables (Bontempi Letti Design division), kitchens (Bontempi Cucine), accessories and lighting. Online configurator for individual customisation. Materials: tubular and sheet steel (lacquered), solid wood, tempered glass, high-gloss surfaces. Sustainability: Made in Italy, low-environmental-impact production processes.

For architects and interior designers seeking a complete, stylistically coherent, contemporary interior range from a single source, Bontempi Casa is the most versatile supplier from the Marche — with Compasso d'Oro heritage, an uninterrupted product programme from table to bed and a configuration ecosystem that meets individual project requirements at industrial quality level.
