A.R.E. Srl was founded in 2009 by Filippo Antonelli, building on a family background in lift installation dating back to the early 1950s. The company specialises in energy-efficient lifts and platform elevators and positions itself as a pioneer in battery-based drive technology. At the core of the offering is the patented ARE SMART-POWER system: an autogenerative technology that recovers energy during operation, significantly reducing net consumption. All products are fully developed and manufactured in Italy.

The product range comprises four lines — Mangusta, Miniwatt, Orizzonte and Zen-0 — covering applications in private homes, apartment buildings, hotels, offices, retail environments and outdoor settings. An online configurator supports project-specific planning.
