ARAN Cucine is an Italian kitchen manufacturer with production in the Abruzzo region, founded in 1962. The company became prominent through Renzo Rastelli, who at the age of 20 began exporting Italian kitchens through his company Newform Cucine and took over leadership of ARAN in the early 2000s. The decisive innovation: Rastelli's idea of flat-pack shipping — over 40 kitchens in a single container — enabled ARAN to achieve global export growth that made it Italy's number-one kitchen export brand. Today ARAN operates seven plants and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications. Production site: Zona Industriale di Atri, Abruzzo. Flagship store: Milan Porta Nuova (Piazza S. Gioachimo).
The range extends from modern and timeless kitchen systems through living room furniture to bedroom and bathroom accessories — all under the Made in Italy claim. Key collection: LAB13 (white lacquered kitchen system, highly configurable). Major contract references: 432 Park Avenue, New York (architect Rafael Viñoly, 142 LAB13 kitchens, 482 bathrooms, 78 pantries, 214 wardrobes) and 125 Greenwich Street, New York (interior design March & White). ARAN products have also been installed in numerous other prestigious American high-rise buildings. Export to over 100 countries.
For architects, interior designers and developers of premium residential projects, ARAN Cucine is the internationally established Italian large-scale kitchen brand — with proven references in the world's most demanding high-rise projects and a holistic living concept from kitchen to bedroom.
