ALMA DESIGN

ALMA DESIGN is a family business founded in 2007 by Alessandra Marchina in the heart of the Franciacorta area (Passirano, province of Brescia). Marchina brings 40 years of experience in the production of steel components for chairs — expertise that directly underpins the brand's material competence and manufacturing quality. Today her daughters Francesca and Lorenza run the company alongside her, making ALMA DESIGN an entirely female-led enterprise. All products are Made in Italy.

The core competence is chairs and tables for contract, residential and outdoor use — complemented by sofas, armchairs and accessories. The outdoor range uses polyethylene and technopolymer formed by air moulding: UV-resistant, lightweight and stackable. Key collections include: X Collection (known from TV living rooms, vintage character from X-shaped legs), Scala (Marco Piva, Salone del Mobile 2019, indoor and outdoor versions), Amy (stackable, by Valerio Sommella), Jo (armchair/stool for bars and restaurants), JR (stool with optional internal LED lighting), Lips and Amarcord. International presence in more than 40 countries.

For contract planners and hospitality buyers, ALMA DESIGN is relevant when Italian chairs and tables are required — with strong colour identity, robust material choices and a design language equally suited to residential and hospitality settings.
