Air Division was founded in Singapore in 1999 and is the first Singaporean furniture manufacturer to win the Red Dot Award Product Design (2010). The company positions itself as a multidisciplinary furniture designer and award-winning retail specialist, committed to honest material use, creative concepts, exacting proportions and intelligent production techniques in every product. Air Division operates an in-house design and development team and collaborates with external designers: documented partnerships include Toshiyuki Kita (Japan), Voon Wong & Benson Saw (UK), Phunk Studio (Singapore) and Ligne Roset (France). The range covers solid wood furniture — dining tables, desks, chairs, sofas, shelving, beds, TV consoles and room dividers — primarily in teak and with marble tops.
