Wiesner-Hager is an Austrian manufacturer of office furniture and contract solutions from Altheim (Upper Austria), founded in 1849 by Josef Wiesner as a carpentry business. In 1921 his sons Rudolf Wiesner and Sebastian Hager took over and, by restructuring part of the operation into furniture manufacturing, laid the foundation of today's brand. Early milestones included garden furniture exports to England in the 1920s — pieces found as deck chairs on passenger ships and in English colonies in India.
