Very Wood

Very Wood is an Italian contract seating brand and part of the Gervasoni Group. The brand was created in 2009 when the Gervasoni Group acquired the contract manufacturer IFA — a company with over thirty years of experience in the segment, including the cruise ship industry. Very Wood distils this industrial heritage into a coherent collection of contemporary seating in Made-in-Italy quality. Artistic direction is provided by Matteo Ragni.

The range covers dining chairs, armchairs, small sofas and bar stools for hospitality, healthcare and corporate environments. All products are tested to EN 16139:2013, Level L2 EXTREME — the most demanding testing level of the European contract standard. The entire wood supply chain is FSC® certified. Features relevant for healthcare and care-home projects include antibacterial upholstery materials (vinyls) and wood surface finishes resistant to disinfectants and antibacterial cleaning agents.
