Tensilence

Tensilence is the acoustics brand of Giovanardi di Carlo Giovanardi & C. snc, a family business founded in 1963 in Villimpenta (Province of Mantua, Lombardy). The company is currently managed by siblings Carlo and Daniela Giovanardi in the third generation. The group comprises 13 companies and ranks among Europe's leading distributors of technical textiles.

The Tensilence range divides into two product lines: Soundflex (ultra-light panels finished with Soltis Touch fabric by Serge Ferrari or melamine foam) and Soundflat (thermoformed panels in 100% recycled PET). These are complemented by a broad programme of acoustic tensioned fabrics with associated profile systems, developed specifically for large surfaces — ceilings, partitions and tensioned sails. References span hotels, restaurants, offices and assembly spaces.

For planners combining acoustic correction with a design ambition, Tensilence offers a rare full-range programme: from a single wall panel to large-scale textile ceiling installations — all produced within an integrated, sustainability-oriented business model.
