Sitland
Sitland is a north-eastern Italian manufacturer of office and contract seating. The company was founded in 1977 in Nanto, Province of Vicenza, Veneto. The first decade was defined by upholstering the seats and sleeping cabins of Italian state railways and — from 1982 — by producing hairdressing salon chairs. In 1987, Sitland made the transition to office seating. The decisive breakthrough came in 1996 with the Ouverture chair, which launched a new era of technology, design and ergonomics. On 5 April 2018, Sitland was acquired by the Mezzalira Investment Group (MIG, Gianmaria Mezzalira); Sitland became part of a strategic furniture pool with Jesse (residential furniture), Rotaliana (lighting) and Sinetica (office furniture). 2022: launch of the Econa sustainability project (zero waste, emission reduction, circularity). Certifications: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Plant: 22,000 m², 150 employees.
Sitland develops all products internally and operates a fully integrated in-house production facility (14,000 m²) covering cutting, sewing, upholstery and assembly — supported by Industry 4.0 processes. Every upholstered product is made from start to finish by a single craftsperson who "signs" each piece. Range: executive and management armchairs, task chairs, conference and visitor chairs, waiting and lounge armchairs (including the Cell collection by Dorigo), sofas (Tobi, Elena Trevisan), ottomans (Joy and Joy 3D), side tables and auditorium seating. Designers: Dorigo Design, Baldanzi & Novelli, Zakaria Khalfaoui and Elena Trevisan.
Sitland is for architects, office designers and hospitality buyers the north-eastern Italian manufacturer for high-quality office and contract seating with nearly 50 years of engineering heritage — recognised with international design awards, certified to three ISO standards and embedded in a growing furniture group for comprehensive interior solutions.
