Saba Italia

Saba Italia is an Italian upholstered furniture brand. The company was founded in 1987 by Amelia Pegorin in San Martino di Lupari, Province of Padua, Veneto. Pegorin is one of the few women entrepreneurs to have built an internationally significant company in this segment of the furniture industry. Since October 2018, Saba has been part of the Dexelance Group, an Italian holding model that supports and develops the international growth potential of its companies. The brand's showroom is in Milan.

The core business is sofas and armchairs, complemented by chairs, stools, poufs, outdoor collections, tables, carpets and bed linen. The design language is emotional, colour-intensive and strongly shaped by textile qualities. Saba is known for its broad fabric colour palette and extensive customisation options — the brand describes its products as "tailor-made". Lead designer: Sergio Bicego. Collaboration with Sardinian designer and artist Antonio Marras (Oltremare sofa, New York chair). Additional collaborations include Studiopepe, Federico Peri and Studio 967Arch.

Saba Italia is the relevant address for interior designers and hospitality projects seeking an Italian upholstered furniture programme with a pronounced emotional and textile design profile — founded by an independently operating woman entrepreneur and developed with a consistent attitude towards beauty, comfort and colour culture.
