RED EDITION is a Parisian furniture brand. It was founded in 2006 by Cyril Laborbe. The showroom is located on Rue de Bretagne in the Marais district (75003 Paris). The brand draws its inspiration from furniture design of the 1950s through 1970s. It connects this retro reference with contemporary materials and artisanal production. Laborbe discovered Vietnamese lacquer techniques during travels to the country — they remain a defining element of the brand today. RED EDITION serves both the residential and hospitality markets.
The range covers sofas, armchairs, dining tables, sideboards, shelving, lighting and accessories. Materials include solid wood, marble, brass, terracotta, rattan, stainless steel and lacquered surfaces. RED EDITION collaborates with designers including Atelier Tristan Auer and David Hodkinson. The PREMIERACTE collection (developed with Tristan Auer and Lelièvre Paris) was conceived as a furnishing system for luxury hotel suites.
RED EDITION is a valid address for planners of boutique hotels and upmarket residential projects seeking a clearly defined neo-vintage aesthetic combined with high-quality artisanal execution. The collection is designed for contract use — with hospitality references and direct planner access through the Paris showroom.
