Profim is a Polish manufacturer of office chairs and seating furniture — founded in 1991 by Ryszard Rychlik, Andrzej Opłatek and Bogdan Kaczmarek in Turek (Wielkopolska Voivodeship, central Poland), during Poland's socio-economic transition following 1989. The company started by trading imported furniture and began its own production of office chairs in 1994 to meet the highest standards in ergonomics, quality and design. Profim was the first Polish office chair manufacturer to receive ISO 9001 quality management system certification. 1998: first trade fair appearance at Orgatec (Cologne) — the international market entry. In the following decades the company expanded internationally and systematically extended its production site in Turek. 2018: Profim becomes part of the Flokk Group, one of Europe's leading office chair providers. 2021: formal renaming to Flokk sp. z o.o., the Profim brand remains on the market. 1,900+ employees, 50,000 m² of production space in Turek.
