Studio Piet Boon is a Dutch design studio — founded in 1983 by Piet Boon (born 1958) and Karin Meyn (born 1961, as business partner and Creative Director Interior & Styling since 1986) in Oostzaan (Amsterdam region, North Holland, Netherlands). The studio has its roots in the Zaanstreek — a region that since the 15th century has served as the epicentre of Dutch craftsmanship and entrepreneurship and laid the foundation of the so-called Dutch Golden Age.
