KWC

KWC is a Swiss premium manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom faucets — founded in 1874 by Adolf Karrer, who acquired a mill in Unterkulm (Canton of Aargau, Switzerland) and initially produced high-quality mechanical music boxes. The transition to faucets began with the use of precision engineering and foundry expertise for gas and water fittings. 1897 introduction of the first gas taps. 1906 presentation of a fully equipped bathroom. From 1911 supply of the legendary Hôtel Negresco in Nice; shortly afterwards Grand Hôtel Ritz in Paris. 1919 conversion to joint-stock company as Karrer Weber und Cie: KWC. 1957 world's first single-hole kitchen faucet mixer with pull-out spray (world premiere). 1959 development of the Neoperl aerator. 1982 KWC NEODOMO (bestseller, 6th generation still in trade today).
