Giopagani
GIOPAGANI is a holistic interior design project founded in 2015 by Milanese architect and designer Gio Pagani, who lives and works in Milan and realises architecture, hotel, private and retail projects worldwide. The studio is based in Gattatico (Province of Reggio Emilia). GIOPAGANI's design philosophy: reinterpreting forms by dressing them with material and colour. The designer's creative philosophy: to read codes and styles belonging to different memories and inspirations, reinterpret them in a contemporary key and give life to Capsule Collections — thematic containers creating different and representative worlds, rich in sounds and stories. Gio Pagani sees himself as a tailor: a figure who enters deeply into the client's culture, tries to interpret their story and is able to create a suit capable of representing them in an excellent way. The studio also manages the brand Unica.
Product categories: sofas, armchairs, easy chairs, poufs, chairs, stools, tables, coffee tables, consoles, writing desks, sideboards, cabinets (display units), beds, wall coverings, bar stools (contract, restaurant). Materials: fabric (velvet, acrylic fabric), leather, nubuck, wood (ash), natural stone (marble, onyx), metal (steel), glass and steel. Designer collaborations: GIOPAGANI Studio, Giovanni Pagani. Collections: organised by thematic capsule worlds. Contract applications: restaurants, hotel lobbies, boutiques.
For architects and interior designers seeking for residential and contract projects a Milanese interior design project active since 2015 that is developed by Gio Pagani — an internationally active architect with worldwide hotel, residential and retail projects — as a direct expression of his personal design language, pursues a narrative, fashion- and history-inspired approach with thematic Capsule Collections, and with materials from marble through nubuck to onyx formulates a distinctive material repertoire for demanding interiors — GIOPAGANI has thought furniture since 2015 like a tailor thinks a suit: Capsule Collections as thematic containers, marble and onyx as material language, the intersection of architecture, fashion and craft as the only location — and Unica as the sister brand of the same aspiration.
