FREZZA is a north-eastern Italian manufacturer of office furniture and professional space systems, founded in 1954 as a small family furniture manufactory near Treviso (Veneto). Originally focused on residential furniture, the company increasingly specialised in office furniture from the 1970s onwards — with growing market shares and its own product identity. In the 1980s the MUX desk became a design icon and status symbol for managers of that era; simultaneously four European offices were opened (Paris, Brussels, Barcelona, Munich). In 1992 the Doimo family acquired the company: success was immediate; a consistent investment policy in technology and ergonomic research strengthened the brand. In the same period Emmegi — a specialist for office chairs — was acquired and since then completes the product range in close synergy. Today FREZZA is part of the WE.DO Holding (founded by heirs of Ettore Doimo). 2024: inclusion in the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest of Italy (on the occasion of the 70th anniversary).
