Eterno Ivica is a north-eastern Italian company for construction and architecture accessories, founded in 1955 in Padua (Veneto) as I.V.I.C.A. — Industria Veneta Idrofughi Catrami e Affini — by Favero Ruggero, initially as a specialist in waterproofing materials and related construction products. Over time the company expanded its activities to further construction sectors, while retaining a specialist role in each individual application category. In its over 70-year history, Eterno Ivica was repeatedly the first manufacturer worldwide in decisive product categories: the company was among the first in Italy to produce subframes for sliding and pocket doors; it developed and patented the first height-adjustable support system for exterior raised paving with a self-levelling and tilting head; and it launched in the early 1990s the first bi-material support head system in PP+rubber. All production takes place exclusively in Italy — in a plant with 13 injection moulding machines up to 550 tons clamping force, operating around the clock six days a week.
