Bencore is an Italian manufacturer of translucent and transparent composite panels for architecture and interior design, founded in 1999 in Carrara — the city globally known for its marble quarries. The company was founded with the aim of developing an innovative and patented technology for the production of composite panels in thermo-resins. The first product was originally conceived as a backing for precious materials such as marble and natural stone; the discovery of the aesthetic and structural potential of the panels led to the development of the transparent composite panel Starlight — and from that moment Bencore's focus turned decisively to interior architecture and design. All products are 100% Made in Italy and based on patented manufacturing technologies.
Material families: Lightben® (translucent resin panels with honeycomb structure, 8 variants, all with LCA and EPD declarations), Hexaben® (composite panels with aluminium honeycomb and acrylic or PETG resin outer sheets, hexagonal cells 9mm diameter, originally from the aerospace sector), Ecoben® (recycled cardboard core + 100% recycled Green Cast acrylic, doubly sustainable), Starlight (transparent SAN macrocellular system). Applications: partition walls, doors, tables, back-wall/ceiling cladding, raised floors, light objects. Systems: Zero (modular wall and door system, aluminium profile, compatible with all Bencore series, 2.10–3.00m), One-two-three (sliding and swing doors), LOOP (with Terno Scorrevoli, space division), Crystal (double glazing with Lightben CC honeycomb core).
