ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL GMBH & CO. KG is a German office furniture manufacturer based and producing in Melle near Osnabrück (Lower Saxony). The company traces its origins to 1939, when Heinrich Ahsmann took over a village carpenter's workshop. His son Dieter Ahsmann built it into an industrial enterprise from 1968; in 1969 Assmann exceeded one million DM in turnover for the first time. The third generation took over in 1999: Dirk Aßmann became managing director and continues to lead the company today. In 2024 Assmann acquired the remaining 26% stake in UK-based Frem Group Screens Ltd — now renamed SPACEMANN, the brand's room-in-room systems division. The company employs over 400 people and achieved a turnover of €150 million in 2023. Showrooms and sales offices in Berlin, Wiesbaden, Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg and London, Paris, Vienna, Aarau, Manchester and Amsterdam.
