Artwork Italian Heritage by Kerasan is a design sub-brand of the Italian ceramics company Kerasan, long established in the sanitaryware sector. The line was developed as a conceptually independent brand extension that removes ceramic sanitaryware from its traditional sphere of use, reinterpreting it as sculpture, furniture and spatial installation. The stated intent: to bring the language of sculpture into interior design and every living environment — whether a house, hotel or commercial space. Artwork Italian Heritage also presents itself as an expression of urban furniture: objects placed in outdoor spaces as witnesses to a new concept of city furnishing.
All products are ceramic objects with a high proportion of handcraft work — individually produced and thus never entirely identical. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. Designer: Fabrizio Batoni (lead designer). Key products: Moloco (ceramic sculpture available as washbasin, vase, floor lamp or bioethanol stove), Groove (ceramic sculpture available as vase or urinal), Adam (ceramic product in the version of air purifier/fan heater with UV-C lamp and WiFi control, compatible with Alexa/Google Home/Siri). The range is listed on Archiproducts in the categories décor, lighting, air treatment and contract. Presence at Fuorisalone.
For architects, interior designers and luxury contract specialists, Artwork Italian Heritage by Kerasan is relevant when unconventional, sculptural ceramic objects with a dual functional role (washbasin/vase, lamp/sculpture, urinal/decorative object) are sought for hotels, upscale private residences or representative public spaces.
