Arketipo

Arketipo was founded in Florence in 1982 by a group of Tuscan entrepreneurs driven by the quality of Florentine textile craftsmanship and the upholstery culture of Tuscany. The company has been a member of the ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) since 2007. In 2011, Arketipo was acquired by Cattelan Italia — an internationally active manufacturer of furniture accessories. The company now operates as Arketipo S.r.l. in Florence (P.IVA IT06109200482). The brand is positioned under the guiding philosophy "obsession with perfection" — "Perfection is a path, not a destination."

The range focuses on high-quality upholstered furniture and home accessories: sofas, armchairs, beds, tables, chairs, sideboards, shelving, lighting and mirrors. From 2008, accessories were added to enable complete and coherent living room solutions. Iconic collections: Autoreverse, Windsor, Altas, Starman, Mayfair (sofas), Jupiter and Belair (armchairs), Douglas (coffee table), Oracle (dining table). Designers: Mauro Lipparini, Giuseppe Viganò, Bartoli Design, Francesco Rota, Gordon Guillaumier, Lievore Altherr Molina, Nendo, Bernhardt & Vella. All materials and manufacturing are Made in Italy. The company is represented through more than 800 dealers worldwide. Contract references: Motel One (Czech Republic), Hotel Du Golf (France), Kempinski Palace (Slovenia), Montecarlo Beach Hotel (Monaco), Hotel Tresanton (UK), Rocco Forte Hotels (Germany).

For hospitality planners and interior designers, Arketipo is relevant as a Florentine luxury upholstered furniture brand — with Tuscan craft ethos, a broad designer network and proven contract capability for high-calibre hotel and residential projects.
