APCOLLECTION

APCOLLECTION is a Belgian furniture label founded in Brussels in 2015 by Alexis (A) and Pauline (P) — hence the acronym AP. The origin lies in a long-distance relationship: to bridge the physical gap, the founders exchanged stuffed animals with each other; from this gesture grew the first creations of the brand, in which authentic vintage furniture is transformed with handcrafted soft toy figures. All pieces are handmade in Belgium, produced in limited editions, and each comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The brand concept fuses craftsmanship, design history and a love of animals: vintage upholstered furniture (sofas, armchairs, poufs and benches) is structurally restored and adorned with handcrafted, individualised animal figures. Bases and frames are specially developed by APCOLLECTION in Belgium. The stuffing of the soft figures consists primarily of recycled plastic from bottle waste. The company donates to charities addressing child poverty and endangered species. Full customisation is available on request with a production lead time of approximately three months.
