ALBEDO

ALBEDO — its name derived from the Latin albus (white), referring to the ratio of light reflected by a surface — was founded in 2016 by two experienced managers from the furniture industry. The brand is based in San Vendemiano (Veneto/Friuli), approximately 40 km from Venice — a region with a strong production culture and a centuries-old Venetian craft tradition. All products are made exclusively through artisanal processes by local master craftsmen from the area.

The brand's sole designer is Carlo Cumini, who defines the design programme through a clear philosophy: the dualism of light and shadow, fullness and emptiness, heritage and innovation. Materials include wood, metal, leather, fabric and glass — in combination with individually selectable lacquers and finishes on request. The range covers sofas (Alfama), sideboards (Alfama, Gong, Cuzco, Nazca B), shelving, side tables and further furniture. The Alfama and Gong sideboards are particularly cited as signature brand pieces.
