Adriani e Rossi edizioni was founded in 1990 near Venice and today operates from three sites in Thiene, Vicenza (Veneto). The company describes itself as a publisher of ideas — hence the "Edizioni" in its name — guided by the principle of "fresh ideas, long-lasting products." The first premises were a 1960s dairy. The company began by developing merchandising objects for the furniture industry, which were then used to style photographic shoots, and evolved into a distribution and design company for national and international markets.

Its defining characteristic is the Total Look approach: by its own account, Adriani e Rossi is the only company in the world that produces glass, ceramics, wood, carpets, lighting, paintings, wallpapers and metal — all strictly Made in Italy or Made in Europe — within a single unified design style. Materials specifically include ceramics from Bassano and Vicenza, Murano glass and Venetian craftsmanship, wood from the Asiago Plateau and metalwork from Vicenza. Participation at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan began in 2010; in 2011 the company received an honourable mention at the Compasso d'Oro — the world's most prestigious design award. The range includes wallpapers, carpets, decorative objects, vases, ceramic sculptures, mirrors, frames and home furniture.
