Adrenalina was founded in 1999 in Cattolica (Pesaro-Urbino) from the collaboration between Domingo Salotti — an upholstered furniture manufacture established since the 1970s in which Filippo Antonelli was active as the second generation — and architect and designer Simone Micheli. The company's headquarters and production are located in Pesaro (Strada della Romagna 285). It specialises in handcrafted sofas, armchairs, poufs and modular systems with a sculptural character, bold colour aesthetic and high degree of customisability. Adrenalina is reportedly particularly active in the British and US markets, where it meets the fire and safety regulations required for the contract sector.
Among its best-known collections are Leo, Nefelibata (Archiproducts Design Award 2024, Contract category, Stormo Studio) and Passepartout — a modular space-dividing and seating system with integrated panels, tables and power outlets (Archiproducts Design Award 2023, Debonademeo Studio). The most recent highlight is AEDO (Archiproducts Design Award 2025, Furniture category): a sofa developed through a co-design process with blind and visually impaired individuals in collaboration with Debonademeo Studio, the Museo Omero in Ancona and the Istituto dei Ciechi Francesco Cavazza in Bologna. Designer collaborations include Daria Zinovatnaya, Setsu & Shinobu Ito, Simone Micheli, Luca Alessandrini and Kazuko Okamoto.
For interior designers and hospitality planners, Adrenalina is relevant when expressive, custom-configurable upholstered furniture with strong visual identity is needed for hotels, spas, lounges and public spaces — with proven contract expertise and a clear social design commitment.
