ABS Group
ABS Group S.r.l. is an Italian company based in Vittorio Veneto (province of Treviso, Veneto) that positions itself as a pioneer in textile-based spatial fitting-out — self-described as the first company in Italy to have reinvented the use of fabric in installation and furnishing contexts. All production takes place at the company's own headquarters spanning over 8,000 m²; printing capacity reaches 800 m² per hour using state-of-the-art dye-sublimation technology, yielding approximately 200,000 m² of printed fabric annually. ABS Group is registered as a Società Benefit and operates its own sustainability label, LEAF (Love for Environment and Fabrics), implementing concrete measures to reduce waste and resource consumption.
The product range is organised into seven categories: Lightbox System (aluminium profiles with LED backlighting and printed fabric covering, available single- or double-sided, configurable from static to interactive and sound-absorbing), beMatrix® Frame System (ABS Group is the exclusive Italian partner of the Belgian manufacturer beMatrix® — an aluminium plug-in system with characteristic 62-mm large-hole profiles, combinable with fabric, LEDskin® LED displays and other materials), Modular System (aluminium-and-fabric space dividers for temporary stores, offices and conference rooms), Textile Architecture (full-height wall claddings in fabric as an alternative to wallpaper: decorative, customisable, insulating, eco-friendly and interchangeable), Sound-Insulating Structures (acoustic panels and ceiling baffles in aluminium and polyester-fibre fabric for reverberation reduction with custom printing), Home Textiles (metre-sold sublimation-printed fabrics for upholstery, curtains, cushions, lampshades and dividers; machine washable) and Phygital Fittings (interactive media surfaces connecting static retail environments with digital user engagement).
Documented reference projects include the Museo Lamborghini, exhibitions at the Triennale di Milano and installations for major international trade fair organisers. ABS Group has been featured editorially in Casabella, Il Sole 24 Ore and Vogue. For interior designers and hospitality planners, ABS Group is relevant when flexible, brand-defining spatial solutions are required — combining high print quality, fast reconfiguration and reusability of the structural system.
