About Office is the office furniture brand of Mobilpref S.p.A., an Italian components manufacturer for the furniture industry founded in 1982. The company operates two production facilities with a combined covered area of more than 15,000 m² and employs over 40 staff. The About Office brand was launched in 2008, building on this industrial base and addressing the office furniture market directly. Mobilpref holds ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certifications; all production uses exclusively FSC®-certified panel materials (certificate number FSC® C140384).

The range is structured around six product categories: executive furniture, operational workstation systems, conference, storage, reception and call centre. Current collections include Funny, Funny Yes, Funny Yes Soft, Yoga, Bold 58, Hype, Pro Tech and O2air, as well as a dedicated home office line. A distinct programme is Wellness in Office — a spatial concept engaging all five senses, built around the Cirmolo product (Swiss stone pine as a natural room climate element) and the Locs acoustic system. For planning and specification, About Office provides a comprehensive 3D library of components, materials and finishes within the pCon Planner platform.

The breadth of surface and colour options is a particular strength: the programme covers melamine decors, veneers, matt lacquer, high-gloss lacquer, metal and aluminium finishes, transparent and lacquered glass, as well as fabrics and leathers. For the lacquering of individual components in wood, metal, aluminium and glass, a total of 225 RAL colours are available. Standard catalogue products are held in stock for immediate dispatch; bespoke solutions are delivered via an express courier network. All products are developed in collaboration with external architecture and design studios.
