6x6

6x6 is a modular wooden system developed through the collaboration between Italian company Cesare Roversi (founded 1946 in Moglia, province of Mantua) and architect Nicholas Bewick. The system uses natural wood frames connected by an innovative oval interlocking joint — a design by Bewick — to create freely configurable desks, space dividers, reception areas and shelving. The structure can be assembled and dismantled without tools. The system won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2018.

6x6 is primarily used in offices, hotel lobbies, retail environments and educational facilities. The wooden frames can be combined with a range of finishing materials and accessories.

For planners, 6x6 offers a sustainable, highly configurable solution for spaces that require flexibility and future adaptability.
