Studio TK

Studio TK is a North American contract furniture brand focused on social spaces and collaborative workplaces. The company was established as an independent brand in 2016, spun out of the Canadian office furniture manufacturer Teknion — previously operated under the name Teknion Studios. Headquarters: Clayton, North Carolina (3940 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, NC 27520). Parent company: Teknion Corporation (Toronto, founded 1983 by Saul Feldberg, CEO David Feldberg). Studio TK is part of the Teknion ecosystem, which also includes Luum Textiles. Approximately 92 employees. Core message: "Shaping office culture and changing the culture of work." Distribution: corporate, hospitality and academic markets, primarily through architects and designers. Trade fair presence: NeoCon and Orgatec.

Design philosophy: exclusive focus on social applications — the informal, collaborative and social zones in the office that build connections and shape organisational culture. Products developed in collaboration with international designers: Patrick Norguet (Santé — iF Design Foundation Award and Jima), Artifort (Kalm and Kuskoa Bi), Alki and Michael Sodeau (Bob Cork Stool). Own collections: Havn (Scandinavian-inspired), Vettore (modular lounge system), Clique (modular bench), Petal, Delta, Africa, Clip and Libelle. Supplemented by Bevy Mobile Tables, Fractals Lounge (privacy elements) and a Vondom collaboration (outdoor). All products oriented towards informal activity zones: café settings, reception areas, waiting rooms and collaboration areas.

Studio TK is for interior designers and workplace strategists the North American design brand for informal office zones — since 2016, as a Teknion spin-off with a clear niche focus on social spaces and a growing international designer portfolio that places the human dimension of work culture at the centre.
