Stefani

Stefani is a north-eastern Italian company for acoustically optimised office furniture and spatial design elements. The company was founded in 1978 in Faenza, Province of Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna — initially as a retailer and solution provider for office and collective-space furnishing, in close collaboration with architects and planners. 2006/2007: strategic shift to manufacturer, triggered by identifying a market gap: there were virtually no design-oriented sound-absorbing solutions for modern offices. Stefani began designing and producing all products in-house. The result was Acoustic Open Space® (AOS) — a line of furnishing accessories and ceiling platforms with high sound absorption. 2006: Natural Confort® selection (sensory well-being concept). Today: 8 product series. Certification: ISO 9001:2015. Company motto: "The meeting between the beauty of silence and design."

Production philosophy: aesthetics, functional usability, sustainability and reduced environmental impact as equal parameters. Specifically: panels from controlled deforestation and certified forests; packaging of easily separable and recyclable materials; products easily reconfigurable and dismantlable (extended life cycle); all raw materials formaldehyde-free; coating processes with non-toxic powders; 100% Made in Italy. Range: modular office furniture, sound-absorbing ceiling elements and wall panels, reception desks and executive furniture. Target users: offices, administrations, collective spaces and public facilities.

Stefani is for interior designers, workplace planners and acoustic consultants the Emilian address for minimal office design with integrated acoustic wellness — since 1978, with the courage of a consistent strategic shift from retailer to manufacturer and a design language that treats silence, aesthetics and sustainable production as an inseparable whole.
